Level 1 - Introduction to Lean Manufacturing Principles:

We developed this kit for organizations with little or no knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles. The Level 1 kit takes a team of employees through a single product assembly line simulation using Lego™ blocks to create the finished items. Your team of employees is taken through 4 stages of process improvement. They quickly learn how working together as a team is important when identifying and implementing process improvements, and they experience this in real-time. They see how their decisions directly impact the entire manufacturing process, starting from the procurement of raw materials to shipping the finished products to the customer.

Total time required to complete this simulation is approximately 1 hour and it requires a minimum of 7 people in attendance to successfully run the Level 1 simulation.

1. A training CD which includes; training manual, process paperwork and assembly drawings and a profit and loss spreadsheet.
